AMERICA’S SMOTHERING WORM in The US CONSTITUTION–REAKS IN THE NOSTRILS OF HIGH HEAVEN STILL TODAY

dredscottportrait_0  The Dred Scott decision inadvertently opened the worm hole in the US Constitution. Lincoln’s view was that the Dred Scott Decision was an essential part of the plot to “make slavery perpetual and universal in this nation (http://www.teachushistory.org/dred-scott-decision/overview ).

This is the living crux in American history, or as Lincoln stated, “plot,” of the Supreme Court Dred Scott decision March 6th 1857, “The ruling in the case by Chief Justice Roger Taney stated that Scott and his family were slaves, not citizens, and did not have the right to sue in a federal court. In addition, the Court ruled that Scott’s tenure in free territory did not make him a free man and furthermore, that the Missouri Compromise was unconstitutional. Banning slavery conflicted with Article V of the Constitution, which stated that citizens could not be “deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law,” and slaves were considered property.” Black people were not considered citizens when the Constitution was drafted in 1787.

Let’s fast forward 156 years after the US Supreme Court Dred Scott decision. Today under the US Constitution the crux of America is supposely amended. Black Americans have complete and full citizenship, but we find America Democrat Party transformed and an opposing transformed Republican Party. Republicans across the nation are attempting passage of state voting legislations that could possibly affect all citizens, regardless of race, creed or color access to voting polls.

Why is the Democratic Party using the face of the Black American experience in American history, to draw concern about today’s issues of voter suppression? Could it be the use of America’s deniable racist (ism) shame in your face tactic? The latest face is that of Dred Scott. What does this have to do with the Dred Scott Decision? The decision was about keeping the Black man a slave in America (not voter suppression), especially all its newly open or purchased territories westward beyond the Missouri River. Or as mention, “make slavery perpetual and universal in America.” I repeat! Not voter suppression. He did not have any then because he was considered a slave/property under the US Constitution. The End

Yesterday’s Republican voting rights were under attack at voting polls alongside newly freed Black slaves. Today’s Democrats charge these efforts directly suppress Black citizens voting rights during elections at voting polls during elections. Yesterday Democrat would have applauded today’s Republican efforts to so-call, suppress voters’ access to voting polls.

This has got to be historically the greatest political flip-flop of modern times. What caused this shift of political ideology between two of Americas rival political parties? Can the answer be found in the Obama factor, or maybe simply, America has unfinished business with its once Black slaves and their living descendants called Black Americans. This crux continues to haunt and tarnish America’s efforts to provided freedom, justice and equality to all its citizens regardless of race, creed and color. I consider America to be my country just as any other patriotic American, but shame on you America.
